1. Who we are and how to reach us
Next Aura Labs Inc. ("Next Aura Labs," "we," "us," or "our") is an independent software studio in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. We are responsible for personal information we control. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may handle:
- Contact details you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, organization, and the contents of your inquiry.
- Project and service information you share with us while discussing or receiving our services.
- If you opt in to SMS, your mobile number, opt-in source and time, consent status, and records needed to manage your subscription, respond to you, and honour opt-outs.
- Basic technical information that our website host or security services may process to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser or device details, pages requested, and request time.
Our website inquiry form opens your own email application. It does not send your information to a form database on this website. If you choose to send the email, your email provider and ours will process it to deliver and respond to your message.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to inquiries and communicate with you.
- Scope, deliver, support, and improve requested services.
- Send SMS messages when you have opted in to receive them.
- Keep records of consent and opt-outs and meet legal obligations.
- Operate, maintain, and protect our website and business.
We do not use contact information collected through an inquiry to send marketing messages unless we have the consent or other legal basis required for that communication.
4. Text messaging and consent
If you opt in, we use your mobile number to send the types of messages described at the point where you sign up or otherwise give consent. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP or email [email protected] for assistance.
We may use an SMS platform and wireless carriers to transmit messages. They process the phone number and message-routing information needed to deliver texts. They are not authorized by us to use that information for their own marketing. We keep consent and opt-out records as needed to administer the program and demonstrate compliance.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
5. When we disclose information
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to service providers that help us host and secure the website, manage communications, provide requested services, or transmit SMS messages. They may use it only to provide those services for us, subject to appropriate safeguards and their applicable terms. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and security, or as part of a business transfer, where permitted by law.
Service providers may process information in Canada or other jurisdictions. Information handled in another jurisdiction may be subject to the laws of that place and accessible to its courts, regulators, or law enforcement as permitted by law.
6. Cookies and analytics
This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting or security providers may use essential technical storage needed to deliver or protect the website. You can also adjust cookie settings in your browser.
7. Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to you, providing services, maintaining required business records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. We then delete it or take steps to make it no longer identify you, where reasonably possible.
We use safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or withdraw consent where our handling is based on consent, subject to legal and contractual limits. You can unsubscribe from SMS by replying STOP. To make a privacy request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
9. Children
This website and our services are intended for businesses and adults, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will review the request.
10. Updates
We may update this policy as our practices or legal requirements change. We will post the current version here and update the date at the top of the page.
