App Maintenance & Project Rescue in Ontario

If your app has stalled, crashes after an update or needs a new development team, start with a technical assessment. From Peterborough, we help Ontario businesses review inherited mobile apps and web backends, document the risks and choose a practical repair, upgrade or rebuild plan.

Recover a reproducible build first

We identify the repository, supported environments, account owners and the process used to build and release the app. Access is scoped to the work and sensitive credentials are handled through an agreed process.

The assessment separates reproducible failures from suspected issues. We record missing access or documentation and explain how those gaps affect the plan.

Choose repair, upgrade or rebuild with evidence

We review dependency compatibility, architecture and the affected user journeys. A targeted fix may be enough; a larger upgrade needs staged releases and regression checks. We explain the trade-offs before proposing a rebuild.

App Store and Google Play acceptance cannot be guaranteed. We identify submission issues and the requirements relevant to the specific app and release.

Experience from products we operate

Our portfolio includes Shelter, MaxxLook and Vettly Guardian. We build and operate these products, including mobile experiences and connected backends. Their project pages show the work.

These are our own products, not claims about completed client rescue engagements. The initial assessment defines what your app needs and what we can take responsibility for.

Questions

App maintenance, answered.

Can you take over an app built by another developer?+

Yes, after assessing the codebase, ownership, build process and necessary access. We provide findings and a phased scope before committing to implementation.

Do you maintain React Native apps?+

We can assess React Native apps and their connected systems. The feasibility of an upgrade depends on the app’s current versions, native modules and release requirements.

Can you fix an App Store rejection?+

We can investigate the rejection and address issues within the agreed scope. Apple or Google makes the final review decision.

Will you need production credentials?+

We start with the least access needed for the assessment. Any additional access and release responsibilities are agreed before implementation.
